If you purchased this license on the Internet chances are very good that it will stop working within a few months as Microsoft double-checks licensing.

Your only recourse is to go back to whoever sold you this license. I thought it had been moved fully away from Pro Plus to cash cow. To the best of my knowledge, that only leaves Pro Plus available as a volume license purchase. Have you seen current confirmation that MS is actively disabling Bootleg volume license resales ie over internet.

I know that in theory they can do it, but I haven’t seen much proof that they actually do much of this. ZDNet is a reputable magazine at least I haven’t heard they aren’t. I’ve sent a question asking for confirmation of how they can offer this bundle and price. My best guess is that no perpetual license is now being marketed under HUP, but I do not pretend to understand or predict Microsoft actions.

Neither do I know when this answer might be read in the future. I have personally seen Pro Plus licenses fail months after initial installation and activation. They require activation and will not activate. I’ve also seen reports of them stopping working here, although not within the last six months or so that I recall.

I am purchasing that deal and we will see. We will see if it continues to show as valid. I may use it one of these days. How to explain such a low value and not be a pirated product? In Brazil there are several companies selling pirated products Microsoft products , including Amazon. You are able to register the product with Microsoft, but it appears that it is an incorrect mechanism.

Would you mind sharing if the license is good after using it for nearly a month? PC Word shop replied that they are “only” resellers from other companies. In practice, they assume nothing. Like here in Brazil, like Amazon and so many other companies that sell pirated software.
